Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of MedicalRide.org. MedicalRide.org is a tool that helps patients, caregivers, and families send one structured private-pay medical ride request to independent transportation providers instead of calling providers one by one. Transportation services are provided by those independent providers, not by MedicalRide.org.
Operator information
MedicalRide.org is part of Cruxi, registered in France. MedicalRide.org is the public-facing platform name used for private-pay medical ride coordination, quote requests, provider outreach, and related support workflows.
Platform role
MedicalRide.org is a coordination and technology platform. We help customers create one complete ride request, route it to independent transportation providers that appear relevant for the area and ride type, communicate provider responses, support booking and payment workflows, and send ride-status updates. We are not an ambulance company, a medical provider, an insurer, a Medicaid broker, or the transportation carrier.
The platform is designed to make private-pay non-emergency medical transportation easier to request and compare: fewer repeated phone calls for families, clearer trip details for providers, and better alignment between route, assistance needs, timing, and price. The goal is to help customers reach providers faster and help providers quote more accurately from the same structured trip details. We do not guarantee that a provider will accept any particular request.
MedicalRide.org may provide planning estimates, pricing context, default pricing rules, quote comparisons, and price guardrails intended to help customers recognize unusual or incomplete quotes and encourage competitive private-pay offers. These tools are for customer support and comparison only. Provider quotes, provider payment links, cancellation terms, and final service terms remain the responsibility of the independent provider that submits or accepts them.
MedicalRide.org is not a due-diligence service, safety-certification service, compliance-audit service, licensing verification service, insurance verification service, medical necessity reviewer, or provider guarantor. Platform tools, provider pages, outreach, matching, price guardrails, communications, admin notes, or quote comparisons are informational and operational aids only. They do not certify, warrant, supervise, control, or guarantee any provider.
MedicalRide.org may make reasonable efforts to identify relevant providers, collect provider information, review public reputation signals, request insurance or compliance references, and remove or pause providers after complaints or concerns. Those efforts are operational safeguards only. They are not a guarantee that any provider is licensed, insured, available, safe, suitable, or compliant for a particular ride.
Booking and confirmation
MedicalRide.org supports more than one private-pay booking workflow. In some workflows, MedicalRide.org calculates or presents a price, collects or authorizes customer payment, asks independent providers whether they can accept the ride, and sends final confirmation details after a provider accepts. In other workflows, providers submit their own customer-facing quote, payment link or payment instructions, offer expiration time, cancellation terms, and operational details for the customer to review.
In a platform-paid or direct-booking workflow, a ride is considered confirmed only after the applicable provider accepts, payment or authorization is completed through the selected payment process, and MedicalRide.org sends the final confirmation details. MedicalRide.org may determine the customer-facing price, provider payout, platform fee, payment timing, and payout method for these workflows, subject to any provider-specific terms disclosed before confirmation.
If MedicalRide.org collects a deposit to source and coordinate a request, that deposit is non-refundable once MedicalRide.org begins working the request because we invest resources to source each ride. If MedicalRide.org is unable to confirm a provider for the request, the deposit is automatically refunded.
For quote-request workflows, providers may submit their own customer-facing price, payment link, expiration time, cancellation terms, and operational details. MedicalRide.org may organize those offers so the customer can compare price, timing, provider details, and payment instructions in one place. The customer chooses whether to accept a provider offer. MedicalRide.org does not control the provider's quoted price, payment link, vehicle assignment, driver assignment, dispatch decisions, route execution, or ride completion.
In a provider-direct or marketplace quote workflow, the provider may collect payment directly from the customer or send the customer to a third-party payment link. MedicalRide.org may charge or invoice the provider a coordination, platform, referral, processing, or similar fee when a MedicalRide.org-generated request is accepted, booked, completed, or otherwise handled through the platform. Customer contact details, passenger details, dispatch details, payment instructions, or provider details may be released in stages depending on the workflow, fraud controls, payment status, provider fee status, safety concerns, and operational requirements.
Platform changes and operating discretion
MedicalRide.org may change, suspend, limit, replace, or discontinue any workflow, feature, pricing method, payment method, provider outreach method, provider matching method, quote process, customer communication method, booking process, payout process, or operating model at any time. This includes moving a request or market between platform-paid booking, provider-direct payment, marketplace quote collection, manual coordination, automated outreach, phone-based support, or another operating model.
MedicalRide.org may reject, cancel, pause, limit, or decline to process any request when we believe the request is incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, emergency-related, abusive, fraudulent, operationally infeasible, outside available coverage, subject to a payment dispute or chargeback risk, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform. MedicalRide.org may also limit access to secure request pages, quote pages, payment workflows, customer support, or communications when needed for security, safety, fraud prevention, compliance, provider availability, or operational reasons.
Provider responsibility
Independent providers remain responsible for drivers, vehicles, licensing, insurance, safety, pricing, route execution, and ride completion. Provider-specific rules, including cancellation policies and vehicle limitations, may apply to each ride.
Providers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, partners, franchisees, representatives, or subcontracted drivers of MedicalRide.org. A provider's acceptance of a ride creates an operational commitment by that provider, not a promise by MedicalRide.org that the provider will perform without delay, error, cancellation, accident, injury, property damage, regulatory issue, or service failure.
Customer responsibility
Customers, caregivers, and passengers are responsible for providing accurate ride details, including pickup and drop-off addresses, timing, mobility level, stairs or access barriers, equipment, weight range, oxygen or medical equipment, companion needs, facility contacts, and any safety-relevant notes. Incorrect or incomplete details can affect provider acceptance, pricing, vehicle fit, timing, and service completion.
Customers are responsible for reviewing provider details before accepting an offer or completing payment, including price, pickup time, dispatch contact, cancellation policy, payment instructions, vehicle or driver details when supplied, and any provider-specific terms. If a customer has safety, licensing, insurance, medical, or suitability questions about a provider, the customer should ask the provider directly before proceeding.
Customers must not use MedicalRide.org to request emergency transportation, submit false or misleading trip details, avoid payment obligations, misuse provider contact details, harass providers or support staff, interfere with platform operations, or attempt to bypass the selected MedicalRide.org workflow after receiving provider information through the platform.
Private-pay only
MedicalRide.org focuses on private-pay transportation. We do not bill insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare on your behalf through this flow.
No guarantees and limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicalRide.org does not warrant or guarantee provider availability, provider performance, provider licensing, provider insurance, driver qualifications, vehicle condition, clinical suitability, pickup timing, arrival timing, price accuracy, payment-link accuracy, cancellation outcome, or ride completion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, use of MedicalRide.org is at the customer's own discretion and risk. MedicalRide.org does not assume responsibility for selecting, vetting, hiring, supervising, directing, monitoring, training, disciplining, dispatching, or controlling any independent transportation provider, driver, attendant, vehicle, or equipment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicalRide.org is not responsible for acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, delays, cancellations, no-shows, accidents, injuries, losses, property damage, missed appointments, regulatory violations, payment disputes, or service failures caused by independent transportation providers, drivers, attendants, facilities, payment processors, communication vendors, or other third parties.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited. These Terms are intended to describe the platform's coordination role and the responsibility boundaries between MedicalRide.org, customers, and independent transportation providers.
