1. Cancellation Fee Policy A. Day-Before Cancellations Policy: If a client cancels the day before their scheduled ride, a cancellation fee will apply. Fee Amount: $25 up to $85, depending on the distance, time reserved, and type of ride. Why This Fee Exists: When a ride is booked, a driver and vehicle are reserved in advance. Day-before cancellations block that time slot from being booked by another client. The fee helps cover scheduling, planning, and operational costs already allocated to the trip. B. Same-Day Cancellations (Less Than 2 Hours’ Notice) Policy: If a client cancels on the same day of their ride with less than 2 hours’ notice, a same-day cancellation fee will apply. Fee Amount: $25 up to $85, depending on the ride type and distance reserved. Why This Fee Exists: Same-day cancellations with short notice cause immediate schedule disruptions. The driver may have already prepared, traveled, or blocked off time for the client. The fee covers lost time, fuel planning, and the inability to accept another ride on short notice.
